With so much foot traffic around these campuses, it is important to ensure visitors have easy access to important information and resources. With [digital signage](https://reachmedianetwork.com/a-total-guide-to-medical-clinic-digital-signage/), you can capture their attention and help them navigate the office. This will improve the overall experience for visitors and help [streamline internal communications](https://reachmedianetwork.com/bolster-corporate-communications-with-digital-signage/) for staff. That’s why this quick start guide will help [get your signage off the ground](https://reachmedianetwork.com/why-how-to-use-digital-signage-for-medical-offices/) and fast. Looking to try [digital signage](https://reachmedianetwork.com/7-ways-to-use-healthcare-digital-signage/) out yourself? **[Click here to get started!](https://reachmedianetwork.com/freetrial/)** ### Screens ![aon_0002_9](https://reachdigitalsignage.com/hubfs/aon_0002_9.png) Which screen you use to display content is ultimately up to your preference, but there are a few guidelines we would recommend to get started. No matter your screen, we recommend at least getting a 1920 x 1080 resolution screen. This is the standard for [high-definition images](https://reachmedianetwork.com/hd-videos-2/), and you never want to show anything at low res. This will ensure your announcements are clear and easy to read. When it comes to the size of the screen, we recommend going for at least a 42” screen or larger. However, be sure not to go too large when getting a screen unless your communication strategy calls for it. Analyze your objectives and make a decision from there! ### Hardware The first order of business would be getting the proper hardware to set up a digital sign. This typically includes however many screens you will need and the [hardware to stream content to those screens](https://reachmedianetwork.com/digital_signage/players/brightsign/media-player/). The hardware you will need is called a [digital signage player](https://reachmedianetwork.com/digital-signage-players/), and it is the device that connects to your displays in order to project content. REACH’s software is “hardware agnostic,” meaning it is compatible with any type of player, ranging from Fire TV Sticks to [BrightSign](https://reachmedianetwork.com/digital_signage/players/brightsign/). However, some players have more extensive capabilities than others, so be sure to research which players suit your needs. REACH is also a hardware provider, so contact us for recommendations! ### Software Finding [digital signage software](https://reachmedianetwork.com/digital-signage-software-cms/) should be the easiest part of the process…because you’ve already found the best one!
